Welcome to The Sacred Wild Way: A little snippet of my journey.

Healing, a constant in our lives.  Healing never ends. We can have psychotherapy, we can heal our inner child, we can use medication, acupuncture, essential oils, food, a myriad of healing continues throughout our lives, at different stages. Sometimes more intense than others. Often as we become older and into our 30's, healing is especially important.

What does healing mean for you?

For me, it has meant intense therapy with a wonderful psychotherapist, it has meant herbs, it has meant surgery, medication, it has meant undoing and relearning, it has been shadow work, knowing who I am, all of which is constantly evolving and growing.

I have always been into alternative practices alongside more conventional care. I was a sickly child with pneumonia and from the age of 4 suffered migraines (still do). I had a host of 'women's' problems ending with extremely severe endometriosis and adenomyosis, which took 15 years to diagnose ending with a radical hysterectomy (with retention of one ovary) and bowel surgery at 33. Between that time I had 3 beautiful children with the first 2 being very traumatic shoulder dystocia births. My body has always been put through a lot.

After my surgery I went on an intense journey of self love. I had experienced reiki before and have very much been on a spiritual path most of my life, but after my surgery something changed. I felt grateful I wasn't in excruciating pain (albeit not perfect) and it was at this time I discovered Sound Baths.

Upon my search for spiritual healing/awakening, I found a local Sound Healer, who turned out to be someone I knew as a child. This healer had so much energy coming from her, it was truly inspiring. That was it, I knew I wanted to do this too. I had already been called to start Reiki and Crystal Healing, synchronicities had kept popping up.

Healing is forever.  There are so many things you can do to heal mind, body and soul. Some are harsh and abrupt, some are gentle.

In these blogs I hope to touch upon different holistic healings, what you can do at home, what they do and how they can help you. I hope that I can help you to open up love for yourself if you don't already, and share ideas to add to any practice you already enjoy.

Blessings!
